No. Unlike many platforms, Mercachat charges zero sales commissions. Your money is yours. You only pay the monthly or annual subscription for your chosen plan. The only fees that apply are from the payment gateway (Stripe, MercadoPago, etc.), which are independent of Mercachat.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your admin dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. There are no penalties or lock-in contracts.

Yes. By paying annually you save up to 20% on all plans. For example, the Growth plan goes from $49/mo to just $39/mo when paid annually. It's the best option if you plan to use Mercachat long-term.

Your store has a grace period. During that time you'll receive reminders to renew. If payment isn't made, your store enters read-only mode: customers can view it but can't purchase. Your data is never deleted. You can reactivate your plan at any time and pick up where you left off.

The Free plan includes up to 30 products, 1 team member, basic design, and a Mercachat URL (your-store.mercachat.com). It doesn't include a custom domain, abandoned carts, or coupons. It's perfect for testing the platform and validating your business before investing.

You can have your store live in under 15 minutes. Choose a theme, add your products, configure payment methods, and share your link. If you want deeper customization, the design editor lets you fine-tune every detail with no time limit.

It's very simple. From your admin dashboard, go to the Domain section, enter your domain (e.g., mystore.com) and follow the instructions to update DNS at your domain provider. The process takes between 5 and 30 minutes. If you need help, our support team will guide you step by step.

You connect your Stripe, MercadoPago, or compatible gateway account from the Payments panel. Payments go directly to your account — Mercachat never holds your money. Setting up payment gateways takes less than 5 minutes.

Yes. Depending on your plan, you can add between 1 and 10+ team members with different roles and permissions. The Scale plan offers unlimited members. Each user can have restricted access to specific sections of the dashboard.

Yes. Every store includes friendly URLs, editable meta tags, automatic sitemaps, structured data (JSON-LD), and fast loading — all factors Google values. On Growth plans and above, you can edit SEO for each product and page with advanced controls.

REST API and webhooks are available on the Scale plan for ERPs, CRMs, and automation. On lower tiers you can use native admin integrations where your plan enables them.

Yes, all plans include a free, automatic SSL certificate. Your store will always display the security lock (HTTPS). This protects your customers' data and improves your Google ranking.

Your data is never deleted. If you stop paying, your store enters read-only mode but all your information (products, orders, customers) remains intact. You can reactivate at any time or request a data export.
